Get ready, get set ... eggs gone

And ... they're off and running, scrambling to collect as many Easter eggs as possible, with the hope they will find the golden egg.

It's a treasure trove of Easter eggs for these two at the annual Bartow Kiwanis Club Easter egg hunt in Mosaic Park. For more on egg hunts and Easter celebrations, see Pages 14-15.

As always, the Bartow Kiwanis Club’s annual Easter egg hunt was over before one knew it. In less than five minutes after the horn sounded teeming hordes of children descended upon the age-designated areas at Mosaic Park where thousands of plastic Easter eggs had been seeded, then, with parents in tow, scurried and scrambled to the prize tables, where they received Easter bunny dolls. Several lucky children found golden eggs and turned those in for large Easter bunny dolls.
