BARTOW — After more than four decades with the Bartow Municipal Airport and Industrial Park, Cynthia Barrow, who ascended to the executive director position in 1994, decided it was time to retire.

“Thank you again for meeting with me individually,” Barrow said at the April 8 Airport Authority meeting. She then made mention it was at the consensus of the Airport Authority that the matter of her resignation be placed at the top of the agenda; to be discussed and determined how, and possibly who, to succeed her. Should the authority hire from within, or expand the search. “And now the decision is yours.”
