BARTOW – If the school district was to buy Bryant Stadium in Lakeland, it would cost it $1.2 million. Annually, it would cost the district about $110,000 a year to operate and generate about $97,000 in revenue.
And while the board at its July 24 work session seemed ready to OK the sale from the City of Lakeland, which now owns the stadium and the adjoining Henley Field, a friendly warning from a board member said to hold off on the choice until the public has a chance to see it.
