Tuesday night Lake Wales Commissioner Curtis Gibson told the press he had no further statement without attorney Bill Ouellette present.

LAKE WALES – Two nights after being arrested on felony assault charges, Lake Wales Commissioner Curtis Gibson was given the option: resign or be suspended.

“I’d like to follow the rule of the law,” said Mayor Eugene Fultz. “If we recommend the governor suspend Commissioner Gibson that would mean he would retain his seat if this is resolved.”
