BARTOW – For the next five years, utility customers in Bartow will see a reduction in costs with an agreement the city made with three businesses at its regular meeting on Monday, Aug. 21.

In the five-year contract, the city will buy power from the Florida Municipal Power Agency and the Orlando Utilities Commission. And transmission will be provided by Duke Energy Florida.
