Team One funding not from Amendment 1

WINTER HAVEN – Through the Freedom of Information Act, the newspaper has learned that a group of people who helped form the Polk Regional Water Cooperative is likely to be awarded a $23 million contract by the cooperative.

The group, called Team One, will begin contract negotiations with the PRWC board soon, according to a Notification Of Intent To Award letter dated Aug. 16.
