LAKELAND — Southeastern University is now accepting applications for its new Master of Arts in Family Ministry program which will begin in the Fall of 2018. The program is for individuals interested in serving children, youth and families in the role of a pastor or leader. Students in this program can expect to pursue a career as a children’s pastor, youth pastor, family ministry pastor, director of family ministries or early childhood pastor.
“Students will have a greater understanding of the challenges families are facing and how the church can come alongside families. They will be equipped to minister to the entire family unit and gain skills for equipping families to take the lead in the spiritual development of children and youth,” said Dr. Chris Corbett, program chair.
