The Bartow Civic Center was a full house on Wednesday as the Bartow Adult Concert Band played its Fourth of July "Slice of Americana before the party in Mosaic Park. Brad Wharton, who played guest conductor in the performance is playing.

Albert McCullough from Mulberry was all set for the Fourth of July on Wednesday. A 26-year veteran of the Bartow Adult Concert Band, he took part in the horn solo during the playing of "Stars and Stripes Forever," at "A Slice of Americana" concert.
