At 4:30 p.m. Thursday, teens can train to be the next tribute for the “Hunger Games” release of “Catching Fire.” There will be obstacles and competitions. Refreshments will be served.

Crochet Club will be meeting at the library at 10:30 a.m. Friday. You do not need to be an expert in crochet to attend.

The library is now offering reading tutoring to kids, teens and adults. Anyone looking to improve their reading skills are welcome to sign up. This will be a one-on-one tutoring in a private, learning environment with a certified reading teacher. No pressure or high expectations, our only wish is to help you learn to read better and have the chance to excel in your education.

Another new opportunity that will begin in November is an English tutoring class. For non-native English speakers, we are offering a class from 6-7 p.m. Thursday beginning Nov. 14. Please call the library at 863-534-0131 to sign-up. This class is free.

To get you ready for the holidays, just a reminder that the library will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 through Sunday, Dec. 1 in observance of Thanksgiving.
