Raymond Edward Gibson (Eddie), 64, died on Nov. 12, 2013, after a brief illness from heart failure.

Mr. Gibson was a graduate of Lakeland High School and a life-long collector of antiques, Edison Phonographs and related music machines. He had an antique business in Bartow for many years and also participated in many mall and gallery antique shows displaying, selling and playing these antique music machines, some of which dated back to the 1880s.

Mr. Gibson was also known as a repair restoration expert in these same phonographs, music machines and antiques.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Gibson; stepsons, Andrew, Robert and David Boyette.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, in the Williams Funeral Home, 714 Fifth Ave. S., Bartow.

Condolence cards may be sent to their home at 680 S. Oak St., Bartow, FL 33830.

Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
