Lou Bloodworth Smith, 54, of Fort Meade, Fla., passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at Bartow Regional Medical Center from heart failure.
She was born Nov. 19, 1959, in Wauchula, Fla.
Lou was a loving wife and mom, and also worked for Polk County School System and worked many other jobs in her community.
She was preceded in death by her parents Barrington and Ava Bloodworth; sister, Doris Smothers; brothers, Ronnie Bloodworth, Charles Lanier and David Bloodworth.
She is survived by her husband, Lindsey Smith; daughters, Christina L Smith, Jessica N. Bowles and husband, Steven, Rebecca D. Smith, Rebecca N. Smith, Jacqulyn R. Smith, Hannah C. Smith and Sierra A. Smith; sons, Gregory A. Smith, Phillip J. Smith, Blake E. Smith, Robert G Smith, David A. Smith and Ian A. Smith; sister Nita Baker and husband, Cas; brother, Aaron Lanier; grandchildren, Tyler, Dalton, Gabriel, Jeremiah, Conner, Layton, Alydia and Layla.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm, Monday, Aug. 11 at McLean Funeral Home, 306 E. Broadway in Fort Meade, Fla.
Funeral service is 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at Cornerstone Church of God, 10 S. Seminole Ave., Fort Meade, Fla. Phillip Williams, Bill Whitener & Larry Barrentine officiating.
Burial is at Hancock Cemetery in Fort Meade.
