Ruby L. Fry, age 95, passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at Kindred Hospital South in Tampa of natural causes.

Born April 16, 1919, in Omaha, Mo., Mrs. Fry was a resident of Bartow since 1965, moving from Columbia, Mo.

Mrs. Fry was a longtime member of the Bartow First Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Bartow Garden Club.

She was an avid Pinochle card player with many of her Bartow friends.

Mrs. Fry was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, C.R. “Bob” Fry, a brother, Jack Hart and a sister, Carole Deputy.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Auclair (Denis), Lakeland; brother, Ronald E. Hart, Muscatine, Iowa; sister, Ferne Norris, Grinnell, Iowa; two grandchildren, six great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.

A celebration of Ruby’s life is 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at the family residence, 5020 Lancelot, Lakeland.

Memorials may be made to the Bartow First Presbyterian Church, 355 S. Florida Ave., Bartow, Fla. 33830.
