On Jan. 24 undercover detectives assigned to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office narcotics unit served search warrants at three locations and arrested 15 suspects during an undercover investigation into trafficking of methamphetamines.
Detectives received information that a suspect named Willie James Robinson was selling meth from his hotel room at the Stay Inn & Suites, Bartow. Detectives saw Robinson at the hotel, and took him into custody. Robinson had 8.75 grams of met and two handguns in his vehicle, police reported.
