Hannah Rogers has been an ace for the University of Florida pitching staff.
Through 27 games (26-1) for the No. 1 ranked Gators, the Lake Wales High School graduate shared the team lead with 10 wins and had one loss in a team-high 13 appearances. The senior right-hander had a 1.02 earned run average and struck out 69 in 68 1⁄3 innings.
Rogers is a three-time All-American and three-time selection to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association all-Southeast Region first team.
Polk State College outfielder Rose Stevens had 39 stolen bases in as many attempts through 31 games. The Bartow resident ranked second among National Junior College Athletic Association Division I players in stolen bases. The sophomore had four steals in a game twice and three steals once. She hit .456 with 13 runs batted in.
Warner University senior pitcher Lindsey Martin, previously at Bartow High School, was 1-1 with a 5.88 earned run average in six appearances.
Warner outfielder Tiffany Porter hit .184 with five RBIs in 16 games, all starts. The Fort Meade High School product had a .975 fielding average in 40 chances.
Frostproof High School graduate Hannah Sikes was 0-0 with no earned run average in two appearances for Warner. She hit .333 in five games.
Shelby Duncan led the Indian River State College regulars with a .511 batting average through 30 games. Out of Bartow High, the outfielder had two home runs and was second on the team with 26 RBIs.
Florida Southern College infielder Kim Booker, another from the Yellow Jackets, hit .262 with seven RBIs in 20 games. She had a.983 fielding average in a team-high 120 chances.
