More than 100 people turned out last week for a dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony opening the Charlotte Behavioral Health Care’s expanded, $2.3 million Children’s Crisis Stabilization Unit on Education Avenue in Punta Gorda.

The unit, named in honor of former CBHC board member Margo Lang, provides care for children, aged 15 to 17, with serious mental health issues, as well as counseling for their families.
