MURDOCK — In providing sewer service to nearly 2,500 properties, East and West Spring Lake marks the first step in Charlotte County’s massive wastewater expansion push. So, with the pilot project expected to finish next summer, county officials are lining up their next septic-to-sewer conversions.
Jon Cole, president of Giffels-Webster Engineers, the Englewood firm assisting with the wastewater expansion program, said 300 residential connections on the east side of State Road 776 in El Jobean will be next, followed by 2,000 connections south of Edgewater Drive.
