On Saturday morning, “edgers” took to the top of the Suntrust building in Murdock Circle to raise money for Drug Free Charlotte County. As part of the “Over the Edge” program, participants rappelled from the roof of the bank while friends and family looked on from the “base camp.”

To earn the hotly contested spots, teams and individuals had to raise $1,000, according to the Over the Edge website, https://otecwe.com/charlotte-county/.
