DMH Wound Healing Institute breaks ground

DeSoto Memorial Hospital, in cooperation with Tampa-based Innovative Healing Systems (IHS), held a groundbreaking on Monday for the new Wound Healing Institute, scheduled for an August opening.

The facility in Arcadia is across from the hospital’s main entrance at North Roberts Avenue and Nursing Home Drive and will provide DMH patients with advanced wound care and two hyperbaric chamber units.
