KEY WEST — If I had a beer for every time someone asked, “Are you related to Ernest Hemingway?” I could sit in the Celtic Ray and have pints of Guiness Stout fed to me until it ran out my ears.

Well, according to my sister, the genealogy buff, we are related, albeit it is very, very, very distant. Our families certainly didn’t run in the same circles back in England and Scotland.
