Team Arcadia hosts annual Holiday Tour of Homes

The glow of Christmas lights warms up the parlor of the Loyless House on Marshall Street. Built in 1927, the house was built by Cona and Eliott Butt Loyless, and still has some of the original features (including an old-fashioned ice box in the kitchen).

The Dozier Home on West Oak Street features elegant formal living and dining rooms. The annual Holiday Home Tour is organized by Team Arcadia with proceeds going toward its projects such as improvements to Lake Katherine Park.

The owners of the Dozier Home on West Oak Street retained some of the old-fashioned features, such as the open shelving in the kitchen, but also incorporated more modern elements such as the wine refrigerator, for an eclectic blend of old and new.
