A little cold can benefit crops

Though temperatures tonight are expected to be freezing in some inland areas, citrus grower Justin Sorrells, owner of Sorrells Citrus Inc. in Arcadia, isn’t too concerned.

He said the expected low of 29 isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as long as the cold doesn’t stay around for too long.
