PORT CHARLOTTE — A discussion about Charlotte County creating regulated mooring in Lemon Bay stirred emotions Wednesday at a joint meeting of the county’s Marine Advisory, and Beaches and Shores advisory committees, and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, at the Mid-County Regional Library.
“What’s the advantage to this?” Englewood resident Jack Copeland asked. He was among a group of boaters who told the Sun they saw no need for a county-managed mooring field in Lemon Bay.
