CAPE CORAL —Courtney Sunnarborg allowed three hits as she pitched into the seventh inning, and Jessica Valerius drove in the game’s only run as the Charlotte High School downed Mariner 1-0 in a nondistrict contest.

Sunnarborg struck out three, walked one and hit two batters in 62⁄3 innings, and got great defensive help to get her out of several jams.
