PUNTA GORDA — Smoking a cigar, with a glass of red wine within his grasp, Bruce Lawson is the picture of contentment Saturday afternoon, as the sounds of jazz fill Laishley Park for the Ninth Annual Punta Gorda Wine & Jazz Festival.

“It doesn’t get any better than this,” he said.
