Wet, wild 4th Fest

The fun began at noon on the Fourth of July for kids of all ages during 4th Fest at Laishley Park in Punta Gorda, and was set to last into the night with fireworks over the harbor wrapping up the revelry. With not a cloud in the sky, the kids lined up for the water slides, ice cream and just lots of fun. Here, little 3-year-old Linus McDonald comes down face first, all giggles, donning his protective glasses.
