The community need is so great that even two waves of torrential rain in between the sun during the 4 p.m.-6 p.m. distribution did not deter the hungry from being in line or collecting food during last week’s Mobile Pantry. A total of 335 families were served perishable and non-perishable food. By the end the wonderful volunteers were completely soaked from the rain, but smiles were still on their faces. The families were grateful that we continued to distribute the food even in and after the rain.
