PUNTA GORDA — Playground fun is no longer a pastime reserved for the very young. Soon, grownups will be able to enjoy their own playground fun.

Last week, five new pieces of exercise equipment were installed in the city’s newly appointed “adult playground,” a green area of Linear Park Phase I near Fishermen’s Village that was created to encourage healthy, active living.
