Some of the Answer Man's cohorts returning to paradise from the frigid North, tending to chilblains and ecstatic at wearing shorts again, are asking questions about the land they left in April.

Like, noise problems aside, are Allegiant airliners really flying over homes at 300 feet — the length of a football field, not counting the end zones — and depositing gunk on lanais? And what the heck happened to those wonderful, senior citizen-friendly casino cafés?
