Our Northern relatives weren’t impressed not too long ago as we reported our unusually low temps, actually in the mid-30s. To combat the unseasonal Florida temps, I converted my meal schedule to include casseroles, soups and crockpot meals.
One favorite is crockpot chili, a simple recipe, so I got out the ingredients. I started with my little skillet, and browned 8 ounces of ground turkey in a tablespoon of canola oil, then stirred in ½ cup diced onion and ¼ cup green pepper.
