A merry little home-town Christmas

Well, Arcadia survived yet another Christmas parade, and seems to have had fun doing it. Crowds have never made me merry or jolly, but this is one time of year when I can make an exception, and enjoy it. There’s nothing like a Ho-Ho-Hometown Christmas parade to bring people together and to bring some joy to their lives.

There were well over 50 entries this year, ranging from pull-behind floats and pick-up trucks to motorcycles and golf carts. And of course, the horses. This is Arcadia, and without our horsemen and horsewomen, it just wouldn’t be right, even considering the mess they sometimes leave behind (the horses, not their riders).
