Cowboy artist opens art season at Martin Gallery

Larry Hudson will exhibit his cowboy paintings and other art at the Martin Art Gallery, with an opening reception on Oct. 17.

Well known local cowboy artist, Larry Hudson, will open this year’s art season with a reception and exhibition of his work on Thursday, Oct. 17. The reception takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Martin Art Gallery, at Florida Outdoor Properties, 207 E. Magnolia Street. It is free and open to the public.

Hudson is a fifth-generation rancher, now living in Fort Ogden, and he finds inspiration in his day-to-day activities, chasing cattle and taking in the Florida landscapes.
