The Arcadia City Council again tabled any action regarding raises given to 22 city employees by former city administrator Judith Jankosky. Instead, they asked city staff to investigate potential legal ramifications of reversing the raises, recommend changes to the city personnel manual and search for specific written rationale given by Jankosky for the raises.
Several council members expressed frustration over the situation Jankosky had created, forcing them to choose between giving pay raises to some while excluding others, or revoking the pay hikes including employees who may have deserved a pay hike.
