The Arcadia community is banding together to help one of their own. Jeff Sikes, who grew up in Arcadia, is a husband and father of three (wife Stevi; son Cory, 10; daughter Kiley, 6; son Conner, 4). Jeff has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing radiation, to be followed by an intense course of chemotherapy, making it almost impossible for him to support his family.

When Cory learned his dad had cancer, he wanted to do something to help his family and came up with the idea of a car wash. The car wash was held on Feb. 8, and from the time they started there was always a line of cars waiting. Some stopped by to make a donation.
