The DeSoto Board of County Commissioners voted 4-1 to approve water and wastewater extensions to the Thorton Creek Motor Coach Resort. Utilities Director Eddie Miller said the initial cost of the project is $200,000, with final costs upwards of $500,000. When asked by Commissioner Gabriel Quave what the expected payback time frame would be, Miller said his department estimated 4.3 years.
The board then approved the agreement, with Commissioner Elton Langford casting the lone dissenting vote.
