PUNTA GORDA — During the 24-hour Giving Challenge, Randy Dunn, CEO of the Charlotte County Family YMCA, joined other charitable groups in an all-night Puppy Pajama Party, with movies and popcorn, a bedtime yoga class, psychic readings and a visit from cute little canines, courtesy of the Animal Welfare League.

Also helping participants stay awake was a bank of computers available for the online fundraiser, and the excitement of watching a reader board with a running tab of donations, which hit the $2 million mark at 5:43 a.m.
