The City of Arcadia faced three water line breaks last week, following a day and night of torrential rains, that had city staff scrambling in response.
According to City Administrator Tom Slaughter, three breaks occurred last Thursday night or Friday morning: one on West Hickory Street at the Manatee Avenue intersection, another in the vicinity of S.E. Peach Street, and one behind some West Oak Street antique shops.
