Joy E. Eisele, affectionately known as Joy, 68, of Bowling Green, Florida, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, in Arcadia, Florida.
She was born Nov. 24, 1948, in Tampa, Florida.
Joy has lived in the Arcadia and Bowling Green area over 40 years. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Joy loved to cook and enjoyed caring for her family and friends. She loved arts and crafts, stringing beads, decorating T-shirts and researching genealogy. Joy was member of the United Daughters of the Confederate Union.
Joy is survived by her loving husband, Allen Eisele of Bowling Green; sons, Jimmy (Kim) Ard of Hope Mills, North Carolina and Hooker (Becky) Browning Jr. of Arcadia; four grandchildren, Jaime (Jill), Jennifer (Ralph), Tyler (Rebecca) Browning and Hunter Browning; and seven great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave. Arcadia. Funeral services begin at 11 a.m. Private committal services will follow in Fort Ogden Cemetery, Arcadia.
