Timothy Ralph Moreno Jr., 38, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in Cape Coral, Florida.
Timothy was born on Sept. 19, 1978, in Arcadia, Florida.
He had been living in Cape Coral for the past five years, moving from Arcadia. He was a graduate of DeSoto high School, Class of 1997. He was a journeyman lineman for Mastec Electrical Co. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers IBEW. Tim enjoyed saltwater fishing, cooking out, playing his guitar, snorkeling and hanging out with friends.
He is survived by his father, Timothy Ralph Moreno Sr., of Arcadia; mother, Genevieve Moreno of Arcadia; fiancé, Angela Minadeo of Cape Coral; two sons, Anthony Moreno, of North Carolina, and Cohen Moreno, of Ocala, Florida; three sisters, Barbara Galaviz, of Arcadia, Maria Hughes, of Sebring, Florida, and Norma (Richard) McManus, of Arcadia; and his fur babies, Penny Lane and Lucy.
Visitation will be conducted from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2017, from the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 No. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. The U.S. Army Honor Guard and the DeSoto Honor Guard will render military honors at the funeral home. A celebration of life will follow at 6 p.m. at Ft. Ogden Baptist Church, 9500 S.W. Hull Road, Arcadia.
