The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of Damon Dwight Daughtrey, 35, on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, and resisting an officer without violence — all because the woman needed a potty break at work.
According to the arrest report, on Feb. 26, a woman who works at a business office in the 6700 block of S.W. County Road 769 (also called Kings Highway) went to her boss’s residence at the same location to use the restroom, as there was no restroom in the trailer where she worked. She customarily used that restroom.
