PORT CHARLOTTE — A woman accused of shoplifting from a local store Tuesday afternoon was facing just one count of grant theft. That is, until authorities looked in her purse, and added 11 drug charges.
Tiffany Lee Goulart, 30, of the 1300 block of Yorkshire Street, Port Charlotte, was arrested after failing to ring up 32 pieces of clothing, some jewelry and a memo pad — worth $305 — at the self-checkout lane at the Walmart on Kings Highway in Port Charlotte, according to a Charlotte County Sheriff’s report.
