When Toby Brooks, the softball coach for Tennessee Wesleyan University, told seniors Malyssa Jeter, Shea Lipe and Hannah England he had a three-room dorm suite with their name on it, the dream had come true for the Bulldog trio. “I have actually seen these girls play since their middle school days and have been following them ever since,” said Brooks. “It just so happens our housing are three joined rooms and I told them they had first pick if they wanted it, and they did.”

Two of the Bulldog coaches had an extra-wide smile on their faces, as they are also the proud fathers. Head Coach Mike Jeter and Assistant Coach Tom Lipe were also excited for the girls. “They have been playing together for a long time, and always said they were going to go to the same college and keep playing,” Jeter said. “It hasn’t been all that easy for them with their fathers coaching.”
