The DeSoto County girls JV soccer team had a rough start to the 2017-2018 season, first shut out by Hardee 2-0 and then running into a very good Charlotte team and again shut out, 7-0.

The Tarpons scored in the first minute of the game and came back with three more goals in a 4-minute span to take a 5-0 lead into the break. The Bulldogs had trouble passing and controlling the ball, which made it easy for the Tarpons to steal and get more shots on goal.
