Barajas’s promise leads to Bulldog 3-2 win

All three Bulldog goals came in the second half in the 3-2 win over Sarasota Military Academy. Francisco Gonzalez got the Bulldogs on the board first to cut the Eagles' lead to 2-1. Diego Barron tied the game midway in the second half and Javier Barajas put in the game winner for the Bulldogs in the 71st minute. DeSoto County is undefeated at home this season.

Javier Barajas asked his mom if she was coming to the first home game of the season for the DeSoto County boys soccer team. He promised that if she came to the game, he’d score a goal for her.

She did and he did.
