The DeSoto County junior varsity football team was shut out 24-0 by a very good 5-1 Frostproof team Oct. 10. In earlier games this season the boys from Arcadia really didn’t have much to be happy with or proud of in their losses. Against Frostproof, however, there were a few glimpses of light at the end of the tunnel.

Coach Wade Huckaby told the team, “We hit and we got hit, but we never laid down and quit.”
