BRADENTON — The Port Charlotte High School boys soccer team fell 3-0 to host Braden River on Tuesday in a District 4A-11 match.

The Pirates (1-2, 0-2) struggled to get their offensive attack going in the first half with only two shots on goal. While they found their rhythm in the second half the Pirates still couldn’t find the net, with eight shots on goal missing the mark. Of those, Port Charlotte coach Tom Ehrnsberger said five were near misses.
