Playing in the first Super Bowl and biggest game of his career, Matt Prater’s parents will be on hand to watch him try to put the “icing on the cake” of one of the best seasons ever by a kicker.

The Estero High School and University of Central Florida graduate, Southwest Florida’s lone representative in Super Bowl XLVIII, set the NFL record for longest field goal with a 64 yarder on Dec. 8 in Denver, and also led the league in both touchbacks and extra points.
