Bulldogs stumble late in season finale

The DeSoto County boys basketball team went into the Tony Cicchella Gymnasium in Port Charlotte with nothing to lose. They were loose and relaxed and were big underdogs in the season finale for both teams.

The Pirates boasted an 18-7 season record compared to the 7-8 mark for the Bulldogs. It was senior night for the Pirates, and everything seemed to be in line for a big Port Charlotte victory.
