• It was a slow week as the high school teams prepared for spring break. The only high school scores reported came from the high school baseball team, which split its two games last week. After beating Sebring 5-2 behind a fine pitching performance by Robb Adams, the Bulldogs were shut out by a good Port Charlotte team.

• The varsity and junior varsity softball teams didn’t have any games scheduled last week, and their game for this past Monday at Charlotte was rained out.
