Brown takes her skills to St. Petersburg

“She’s got it all, she’s the consummate ball player. She eats, drinks and sleeps softball. She’s been with us four years and we’re going to miss her,” DeSoto County softball coach Billy Hines said.

Debbie Brown has done it all for DeSoto County High School’s softball program. This season she’s anchored the infield from her shortstop position after moving from third base. She’s spent time on the mound, she can hit from both sides of the plate and is a mentor for the young Bulldogs on the team.
