JV girls finish successful 11-4 season

The 2014 DeSoto County JV softball team finished their season with an 11-4 record.

The DeSoto County junior varsity softball defeated Lake Placid 16-1 in a run-rule game called after McKayla Greene slid into home to create the 15-run lead. The Lady Bulldogs scored four in both the first and second innings and put away the Green Dragons with eight more in the third.

Eight different players scored for DeSoto County as they banged out 11 hits and collected six walks. Katie Game led in hits, going three-for-three on the night. Greene and Hannah Lambright both scored three times, with Cassidy Furr, Jayla Cowell, Allyson Krause and Bre Ray each scoring twice.
